Welcome! Branson School Online (BSO) is a home-based, K -12 public school funded through the Colorado Department of Education. Since 2001, we have offered families an individualized, technologically innovative alternative to the traditional educational setting. BSO does not charge tuition, is open to all students residing in Colorado, and offers a variety of educational options designed to meet the unique needs of participating families. Moreover:

• We are governed by a locally elected Board of Education.
• We are a fully accredited, diploma-granting institution. 
• We connect students and parents with highly qualified, licensed teachers who assess, diagnose educational needs, and collaboratively devise and implement a personalized education plan (PEP) designed to specifically address student strengths, needs, and learning styles. 
• We loan students a computer and printer, reimburse families for their Internet connection (up to $20 per month during the school year), and we reimburse families (up to $25 per month during the school year) for educational expenses (e.g., printer, paper, ink cartridges, or other educational materials).

At BSO, we are committed to offering educational choice to families who seek to be involved in the educational process within the home setting. Our choices of high quality, standard-based programming are delivered via Internet, e-mail, and other online and offline resources to complete a rich course of study in a multitude of curricula.
 
Each week teachers provide ongoing, regular communication with students and parents regarding all phases of instruction. Teachers work with families to direct the students' daily learning and to ensure that students achieve success with regard to their individualized learning objectives.
 
Branson School Online’s curricula are supplemented by a full spectrum of extracurricular activities, field trips, and school-wide programs which are designed to promote positive interaction among students, families, and their communities.
 
Branson School Online offers expanded learning opportunities to high school juniors and seniors who may enroll in college classes and receive dual credit. Earned credits will count towards Branson High School graduation requirements as well as Associate or Bachelor’s degree programs. Upon satisfactory completion (a minimum grade of C) we will reimburse 100% of the student's tuition cost.
